Needless to say I haven't written in awhile. For that, I do apologize and I will try to get some more material here soon. This summer has been filled with friends, work, ball, kids, ball, kids, work, ball, kids, etc. Well, this morning I was inspired so I thought I would share it with all of you. I'm also going to apologize again because you know how easily amused I am so this could be completely just me being myself, laughing at stupid shit like I always do. I'm going to switch this one up a bit to protect my friend. Although I will, to the end of my days, remember this moment. Well, maybe not that long but it's going to take a while for me to forget this one.
I'm sure you all are familar with Facebook by now. Well, there is an application within Facebook called Farmtown. You can request your own neighbors and harvest others crops for them for some extra money. You can even click on your livestock and animate them. For instance, you can make move them, make them wander around, sleep, stand up, sit down, sell, etc. I often make my pigs sleep because they are so damn cute. I have a decent crop and a modest amount of livestock on my farm. I have great neighbors that will actual text or call me and tell me it's time to harvest and I recipricate the favor. Honestly, it's pretty damn stupid but it makes me happy and with that I really don't give a shit how silly it is. If it makes me smile, I'll keep it around.
I may not get this verbatim but it's pretty close and you'll get the point......So, I'm talking to...we'll call him Trent....today about how I sent him a rooster. Now that I'm a "Superb Farmer" I can now send Roosters, I guess. Well, he states how he hates his chickens. He builds fences and they still get out. He tries to eat them and nothing happens....
Me "What? You can eat the chickens? I never knew that."
Trent "Yeah, click on it and it says "eat". But every time I click on it to eat them they don't go away. It won't let me eat the damn things either."
Me "Trent? When I click my chickens they peck the ground and "eat".
I couldn't help it and I couldn't quit laughing. I'd try to think of something else but I just couldn't get that "they won't let me eat the damn things either." He must have some fat chickens, always making them eat and all because later, after my laughter had subsided a little, he mentioned how many times he'd actually tried eating those damn chickens.....and I laughed even harder.....
Ahhhh I'm still laughing right now!!!
Again...if you're not on farmtown this post probably isn't very funny and it would sound a lot better coming from me in person. Well, maybe not, because I'm currently wiping the tears away from trying to type it.
Some words of wisdom for the day.....
If you are a 69 year old, female, slightly overweight trucker, you should probably not wear little teeny tiny tank tops ESPECIALLY bra-less. It scares people. Really......She left and my beautiful daughter says, "Ummm, Mom? I saw that old ladies nipples......" Fucking great. Now she has seen saggy trucker nipples. I can't wait to hear what she says at the childrens sermon Sunday at church...
